Role Overview: Provides direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Focuses on promoting patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, and ensuring safety and quality compliance. Assists physicians with diagnostic and interventional procedures in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab, including patient assessment, sedation, pharmacologic support, and post-procedure stabilization. Collaborates with the healthcare team to develop and communicate individualized care plans, considering patient preferences and cultural needs.
Qualifications & Skills:
- RN license required; Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree essential, Bachelor’s preferred
- No prior experience necessary; 2+ years preferred for advanced roles
- Strong critical nursing skills, emotional intelligence, and ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment
- Preferred experience in ED, ICU, or Cardiac settings
