Role Overview:
The registered nurse provides comprehensive patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. They promote patient and family-centered care, educate on illness management, and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Developing and documenting individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and families is essential, along with assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs while respecting patient values and cultural considerations. The role involves working in a safety-sensitive environment, requiring alertness and safe practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree and RN license
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience
- Prior pediatric nursing experience is advantageous
- Strong communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills
