Role Overview:
We are seeking a Radiology Technologist responsible for performing general imaging procedures on adult and pediatric patients to aid in diagnosis and treatment. The role involves preparing patients and equipment, providing clear instructions, and executing radiographic examinations independently, including portable and on-call procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients and equipment, ensuring high-quality customer service and professionalism.
- Perform radiographic procedures accurately and efficiently, including portable and emergency exams.
- Respond promptly to departmental requests for imaging services.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate degree or trade school certification in radiologic technology.
- Licensure as a Radiology Technologist (Reg), with IEMA certification for Illinois (excluding MRI).
- Preferred experience of 2+ years, with CPR certification.
- Excellent communication, technical skills, and patient care abilities.
