Role Overview:
Seeking a Charge MRI Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily MRI, in an operating room setting. This full-time position offers benefits, no call requirements, and operates on a day shift with a rotating schedule after initial training. The role involves preparing patients and equipment, executing studies independently, overseeing shift operations, troubleshooting, and mentoring staff and students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures on adult and pediatric patients.
- Manage daily workflow, assignments, and equipment needs.
- Act as a clinical resource, assisting with complex exams and mentoring staff.
- Serve as a liaison between the team and supervisor, escalating issues as needed.
- Ensure proper patient preparation and equipment readiness.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate degree or higher in a related field.
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)).
- 2+ years of radiology experience; MRI or operating room imaging experience preferred.
- Licenses such as RTR, CT, MR, among others, depending on location.
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and mentoring abilities.
