Role Overview:
Provides direct patient care for adults aged 50+ in a supportive behavioral health setting, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards.
Responsibilities include promoting patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, ensuring safety and quality compliance, and developing individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team.
Uses critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors. Maintains safety as a priority in all activities.
Qualifications:
- RN license required.
- Nursing diploma or associate’s degree; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- No prior experience required; 2+ years of experience and supervisory experience are preferred.
