Acute Care Clinical Nurse – Full-Time Days

Role Overview:

Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing care standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication use. Participates in ensuring patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while engaging in ongoing professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patients, ensuring clear communication across care settings.
  • Performs comprehensive assessments of physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural backgrounds.
  • Maintains a safe environment, demonstrating alertness and adherence to safety protocols, as this position is safety-sensitive.
  • Supports multidisciplinary teamwork involving case managers, social workers, physical therapists, dietitians, pharmacists, and physicians to deliver high-quality care.
  • Qualifications & Skills:

    • Educational requirements: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree (required), Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
    • Licenses & Certifications: Valid RN license.
    • Experience: No minimum experience required; 2+ years preferred for additional roles.
