Acute Care Clinical Nurse – Full-Time Days

Role Overview:

Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing care standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication use. Participates in ensuring patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while engaging in ongoing professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patients, ensuring clear communication across care settings.

Performs comprehensive assessments of physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural backgrounds.

Maintains a safe environment, demonstrating alertness and adherence to safety protocols, as this position is safety-sensitive.

Supports multidisciplinary teamwork involving case managers, social workers, physical therapists, dietitians, pharmacists, and physicians to deliver high-quality care.

Qualifications & Skills:

Educational requirements: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree (required), Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Licenses & Certifications: Valid RN license.
Experience: No minimum experience required; 2+ years preferred for additional roles.
