Clinical Nurse – Wound & Ostomy

Role Overview:

Provides direct patient care by assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing activities within established standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs. Collaborates with the healthcare team to develop and communicate individualized care plans, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and barriers to involvement. Maintains safety-sensitive standards, requiring alertness and safe work practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree; Bachelor’s preferred.
  • Licenses: Active RN license.
  • Experience: No experience required; 2+ years preferred for advanced roles.
  • Skills: Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration abilities; commitment to professional development and safety.
