New Graduate Nurse

Role Overview

The Graduate Nurse provides direct patient care activities, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, within established nursing standards. They will need to obtain licensure within 90 days of graduation to maintain employment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Educating patients and families on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication use.
  • Using critical thinking to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs.
  • Developing and implementing personalized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, promoting patient-centered care.
  • Evaluating patient responses and adjusting care plans accordingly.
  • Participating in activities that ensure patient safety, quality, and compliance.
  • Engaging in professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
  • Must pass licensure within 90 days of graduation.
