Role Overview: The RN Clinical Nurse provides high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care within an interdisciplinary team, focusing on neuro acute care. They adhere to professional standards, evidence-based practices, and organizational policies to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, emphasizing individualized and culturally competent approaches.
- Partner with patients and families through effective communication and education, ensuring patient goals guide the care plan.
- Coordinate and document safe, high-quality care, fostering teamwork through interdisciplinary rounds and timely documentation.
- Support professional development by serving as preceptor/mentor, completing competency assessments, and participating in performance improvement activities.
- Promote evidence-based practice, nursing research, and utilization of clinical data to improve care quality.
- Contribute to protocol development, resource management, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Current RN license (single or multi-state compact) and BLS certification required.
- Experience in direct patient care preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, critical thinking, and time management skills.
- Proficiency in technology and basic computer skills; ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies.
