Job Summary
Performs respiratory therapy procedures on patients with diverse needs and physical abnormalities.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Administers respiratory treatments and therapies according to physician orders and patient needs.
- Monitors patient responses and adjusts treatments as necessary.
- Maintains and calibrates respiratory equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Documents procedures, patient responses, and treatment outcomes accurately.
- Collaborates with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
- Provides patient education and emotional support related to respiratory therapies.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapist Program.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in respiratory therapy.

Certifications and Licensure
- Respiratory Care Practitioner license from the State of Texas.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
