Role Overview: This position involves leading the design and management of employee benefit plans for complex clients, including analysis, cost mitigation, vendor procurement, and benchmarking. You will serve as a project manager, acting as the primary contact for clients, coordinating with internal teams, and maintaining strong client relationships. Responsibilities also include supporting compliance, billing, collections, and budgeting to ensure engagement success, as well as mentoring junior staff and presenting technical recommendations.
Qualifications & Skills: Candidates should have a minimum of five years of recent experience in employer benefit strategies (eight years for Senior Manager), a relevant bachelor’s degree, and professional credentials such as CPA, EA, JD, or advanced degrees like MBA or certifications like CEBS or CCP. Proven leadership in managing multiple large client engagements, industry knowledge across benefits and regions, and strong analytical, communication, and project management skills are essential. Ability to work at client sites and travel up to 15% is required.
