Role Overview: Performs CT procedures to acquire digital images for diagnostic and treatment purposes, under supervision of a Radiologist.
Key Responsibilities: Operates CT scanners, power injectors, and computer systems; maintains protocols aligned with safety guidelines and dose management; prepares patients ensuring proper positioning, shielding, and technical settings; performs advanced imaging such as CTA and interventional procedures; interprets clinical histories and anatomy to select appropriate protocols.
Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from a Specialty Training Program; knowledge of multiple CT systems and anatomy across various systems (thoracic, abdominal, neuro, musculoskeletal); understanding of physics and pharmacology to optimize imaging and patient safety; ability to interpret technical factors to enhance image quality and efficiency.
