Respiratory Therapist (Registered/Certified)

Role: A Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) responsible for assessing patient respiratory needs, developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing high-quality care using state-of-the-art equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough patient assessments and establish care plans.
  • Administer therapies such as aerosolized medications, oxygen, and secretion management.
  • Manage mechanical ventilators and monitor patient status with non-invasive tools.
  • Provide patient and family education on disease management.
  • Assist in airway management, intra-hospital transport, and emergency responses.
  • Support procedures like bronchoscopy and invasive line placement.
  • Collaborate with medical teams, adhere to safety standards, and maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Serve as a shift coordinator and preceptor for students and new staff.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Graduate from a Specialty Training Program (required).
  • Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP (provided and required).
  • Ability to operate advanced respiratory equipment and work in a clinical environment.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and patient care skills.
