Role Overview:
This position involves providing direct outpatient patient care in an OB-GYN clinic, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. The role emphasizes patient and family-centered care, including education on illness management, post-treatment home care, and medication administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote a healing environment by educating patients and families.
- Participate in activities to ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team, patients, and caregivers, ensuring effective communication across care continuum.
- Use critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values, cultural, and spiritual preferences.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
- RN licensure required.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience.
- Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment with a focus on alertness and safety.
