Role Overview:
Seeking a PRN CT Technologist for evening and night shifts with flexible scheduling, working a minimum of 20 hours every 6 weeks. The role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures using advanced modalities such as computed tomography (CT), with opportunities to participate in CT-guided biopsies and procedures.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing patients and equipment for imaging procedures.
- Conducting studies independently, including on-call and portable exams.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate degree or higher in a related field.
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) and/or CT.
- Minimum of 1 year of CT experience preferred; 2+ years ideal.
- Licenses such as IEMA (Illinois) and certifications like RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES are advantageous.
- Experience in radiology, medical imaging, or related fields is preferred.
Key Duties:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure quality control and safety during imaging processes.
