Role Overview: The Radiology Technologist performs general imaging procedures for adult and pediatric patients to aid in diagnosis and treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients and equipment, providing instructions with professionalism and excellent customer service.
- Perform radiographic imaging independently, including portable and on-call exams, and assist with assigned tasks.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate Degree or Trade School training.
- Valid Radiology Technologist license (RT R) required; additional licenses (e.g., IEMA for Illinois) preferred.
- No prior experience necessary; 2+ years preferred.
- CPR certification and relevant licenses are advantageous.
Additional Details: Cross-training opportunities are available, and pediatric experience is not required. The role offers flexible, PRN scheduling to accommodate various needs.
