MRI Technologist – PRN

Role Overview

Seeking an MRI Technologist for a PRN position within the MRI department, responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures on adult and pediatric patients.
Responsibilities include preparing patients and equipment, conducting studies independently, and managing on-call, portable, and various site exams.
Requires MRI Registry upon hire, with shift coverage varying from 8 to 12 hours, and no call or holiday duties.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Associate or Trade School Equivalent
  • Licenses & Certifications: IEMA (excluding MRI), RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES
  • Preferred: 2+ years of experience, CPR, Intravenous Therapy certification
  • Experience in advanced imaging modalities is a plus

Key Duties

  • Prepare patients and equipment for diagnostic procedures
  • Perform imaging studies independently and in various settings
  • Maintain quality control standards
