Role Overview:
We are seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to deliver skilled inpatient occupational therapy services in an acute care hospital setting. The therapist will evaluate patients, develop and implement treatment plans considering discharge needs and functional goals, and collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members. They will delegate tasks to assistants and students, ensure proper documentation, and provide assessments and consultations.
Qualifications:
Minimum requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy and an Occupational Therapist license. No prior experience is necessary, but a Master’s Degree is preferred.
Skills & Responsibilities:
Establish treatment plans, educate and confer with patients and providers, delegate interventions appropriately, and complete documentation per departmental policies. The role emphasizes patient-centered care aligned with the hospital’s principles.
