Role Overview:
This is a Full-Time Senior Radiation Therapist position involving the delivery of radiation treatments to oncology patients, including malignant and benign tumors, in an outpatient setting. The role requires preparing patients and charts, administering accurate treatments, and coordinating scheduling. It demands proficiency with the TrueBeam linac, performing treatments such as simulation, 3D simulation, brachytherapy, and teletherapy, including IMRT.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing patients and charts for procedures
- Delivering consistent, precise radiation treatments
- Completing treatment procedures and managing patient schedules
Qualifications and Skills:
- Certified Radiation Therapist (RT(T)) with ARRT certification
- Completed accredited Radiation Therapy program
- Minimum of 2 years experience preferred; recent graduates considered
- Ability to operate TrueBeam linac and teach students
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Licensure as RT(T)
Preferred Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Radiation Therapy
