Clinical Nurse Telemetry Nights

Role Overview:

Provides direct patient care in a full-time night shift position within a 31-bed cardiac, telemetry, stroke, and neuro unit. Focuses on assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs, promoting patient and family-centered care. Educates patients on managing their conditions, post-treatment care, and medications.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops and documents care plans with goals in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
  • Implements critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and barriers.
  • Participates in activities that ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, along with ongoing professional development.
  • Engages in promoting a healing environment through education and compassionate care.

  • Qualifications & Skills:
  • Minimum of a Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing; RN license required.
  • Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing with at least 2 years of experience.
  • Ability to work in a safety-sensitive role with alertness and safety as priorities.
  • Strong assessment, communication, and patient education skills.
