Role: The Sonographer performs ultrasound imaging for diagnostic and treatment purposes across various patient groups, including abdominal, obstetrical, small parts, and vascular studies. They assist with needle procedures such as biopsies and drainages, ensuring proper equipment function and documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure equipment readiness and proper operation
- Perform ultrasound examinations independently, including portable and on-site studies
- Accurately document procedures and findings
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate degree or equivalent trade school training
- Certification as RDMS or equivalent; CPR and RDCS preferred
- Experience not required; 2+ years preferred
