Role Overview:
This position involves providing direct patient care in an acute care setting within a 38-bed unit specializing in medicine. The nurse will assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care activities, promoting patient and family-centered care, education, safety, and quality standards. Responsibilities include developing individualized care plans, communicating effectively across the care team, and addressing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs while respecting patient values and barriers. The role supports professional development and safety compliance.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree, RN license, no prior experience required.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, at least 2 years of experience.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work safely and adapt to a high-acuity environment.
Key Duties:
- Provide comprehensive nursing assessments and care.
- Educate patients and families on managing health conditions.
