Acute Medicine Pulmonary Nurse – Days

Role Overview:

This position involves providing high-quality care to patients with acute medical conditions, collaborating closely with physicians and a multidisciplinary team. It emphasizes promoting patient-centered care, education, safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. The nurse will develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans, assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs while respecting patient values and barriers. The role requires critical nursing skills, effective communication, and adherence to standards of care.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote patient and family-centered care, including education on illness management and post-treatment care.
  • Participate in activities ensuring patient safety, quality, and compliance.
  • Develop and document personalized care plans collaboratively with patients and team members.
  • Assess patient needs holistically, considering emotional, spiritual, and cultural factors.
  • Work in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining constant alertness.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Educational requirements: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Licenses & Certifications: RN license required.
  • Experience: No experience necessary; 2 years preferred for advanced roles.
  • Skills: Strong clinical assessment, communication, teamwork, and critical thinking abilities.

Position Highlights:
