Role Overview:
This position involves providing direct patient care within a Medical-Surgical unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation based on nursing standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient- and family-centered care, educating on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs.
- Participate in activities promoting patient safety, quality, and compliance, while engaging in professional development.
- Develop and document individualized care plans, collaborating with team members, patients, and families to ensure clear communication.
- Utilize critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Qualified with a Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing; RN license required.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience.
- Strong communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills.
