Role Overview
The Graduate Nurse provides direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, within established nursing standards. This role requires completion of a nursing program and licensure within 90 days of graduation to maintain employment.
Responsibilities
- Promote patient and family-centered care by educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
- Assess and evaluate patients’ physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs using critical nursing skills.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans collaboratively with healthcare team members.
- Monitor patient responses and modify care plans as needed throughout their stay.
- Participate in activities to ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, along with ongoing professional development.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience: No prior experience required.
- Licensure: Must obtain licensure within 90 days of graduation.
