Summary:
The Clinic LPN provides primary clinical support by assisting providers, managing patient care, and ensuring accurate documentation and follow-up on diagnostic tests. They perform basic medical assessments, prepare patients for examinations, support minor surgical procedures, collect laboratory specimens, and administer medications and vaccines under provider supervision. The role involves maintaining a clean, organized environment and effective communication with patients and providers to promote efficient care delivery.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate of a Specialty Training Program in Nursing
- Ability to obtain and document patient history, vital signs, and medical data
- Competence in assisting with diagnostic procedures and specimen collection
- Experience in administering medications and vaccines, including skin testing
- Strong communication, organization, and aseptic technique skills
- Flexibility to work in a clinical environment with varying shifts
