Role Summary: This position is for a full-time Inpatient RN responsible for assessing, planning, and providing comprehensive nursing care in a fast-paced, 24-bed acute care unit. The RN promotes patient safety, satisfaction, and adaptive responses, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care, administer treatments, medications, and diagnostics, and evaluate intervention effectiveness. The role emphasizes compassionate interactions, patient education, discharge planning, and participation in quality and safety initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform assessments and address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families.
- Develop and coordinate individualized care plans in line with unit standards.
- Provide direct care including treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures.
- Evaluate patient responses and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with physicians and team members to meet patient needs.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and participate in evidence-based practice decisions.
- Engage in quality improvement, safety education, and unit teamwork.
