Radiology Technologist MRI – Nights

Role: MRI Technologist responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Obtain correct patient order, ensure proper identification, and prepare patients while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and apply ALARA principles to maximize safety.
  • Prepare, administer, and document medications as prescribed, following legal and institutional policies.
  • Evaluate image quality, verify data transfer, and perform post-processing when needed.
  • Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers; assist with magnetic resonance interventional procedures.
  • Select pulse sequences considering protocols and data acquisition factors.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in routine and complex duties, participate in quality improvement activities, and uphold safety standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Certification by ARRT (MR), ARMRIT, or NMTCB with ARRT-MR credential required.
  • Graduate of a radiologic technology specialty training program; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of MRI safety, technical procedures, and patient care best practices.
