Role Overview: The Inpatient Registered Nurse provides comprehensive patient care within a hospital setting, addressing physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, administer treatments, medications, and diagnostic tests.
Evaluate and adjust nursing interventions based on patient responses. Collaborate proactively with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to meet patient needs. Troubleshoot equipment issues and participate in evidence-based practice decisions. Engage actively in quality and safety initiatives, and contribute to team goals.
Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from a specialty training program (required). Highly preferred: at least two years of inpatient float or travel nursing experience. Ability to work rotating day/night shifts, including weekends and holidays, and float between multiple hospital locations.
