CT Technologist – Per Diem

Role Overview: CT Technologists administer ionizing radiation for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research purposes, performing computed tomography and molecular imaging procedures. They acquire and analyze data for diagnosis and assist licensed practitioners with interventional and therapeutic procedures.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure correct patient identification, proper exam preparation, and documentation of clinical history while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and adhere to ALARA principles for patient safety.
  • Prepare and/or administer medications via vascular access as prescribed.
  • Evaluate images for quality, proper positioning, and verify data storage or transfer.
  • Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers.
  • Assist with and perform computed tomography procedures as directed by licensed practitioners.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Certification by ARRT or NMTCB required upon hire; new graduates must obtain certification before starting.
  • Completion of a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology; a Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to perform procedures independently and work in a clinical environment.
