Diagnostic Radiology Technologist – Days

Role Overview: Responsible for performing standardized radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform radiological and fluoroscopic procedures with proper patient positioning, identification, and exposure techniques.
  • Operate all equipment within the modality proficiently.
  • Set up and adjust immobilization and radiation protective devices.
  • Assess patient body size, physical condition, and suspected pathology to ensure accurate examinations.
  • Assist physicians during various procedures.
  • Report equipment malfunctions and coordinate necessary repairs or adjustments.
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation.
  • Participate in Quality Assurance/Quality Control activities.
  • Contribute to educational training of students.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology (required).
  • Knowledge of operation of radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment.
  • Attention to patient safety and care, including use of immobilization and protective devices.
  • Ability to analyze patient conditions to customize procedures.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
