Registered Nurse – Acute Care Oncology

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse provides high-quality nursing care by collaborating with the patient care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs. They serve as a key liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers, ensuring a positive and supportive environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, examine, and evaluate patient conditions, contributing to care planning and taking appropriate actions to promote outcomes.
  • Deliver safe, effective, and individualized care following established policies and documentation standards.
  • Advocate for patients by addressing concerns, educating families, and ensuring patient-centered care to enhance satisfaction.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives, contribute ideas, and support organizational change efforts.
  • Maintain professional licenses, certifications, and pursue ongoing development to stay current with best practices.
  • Foster professional growth in others through mentorship, uphold confidentiality and safety standards, and promote a positive work environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (preferred).
  • Current RN licensure and certifications such as BLS or ARC-BLS.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and critical-thinking skills.
  • Commitment to professional development and quality improvement.
