This role is for a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) in the Medsurg Oncology Unit at a hospital specializing in adult cancer care, offering inpatient treatments, hospice, and telemetry services.
As a key member of an interdisciplinary team, the RN will provide individualized, high-quality, safe patient care by performing the nursing process, utilizing evidence-based practices, and fostering patient-centered relationships that respect cultural diversity.
Core responsibilities include coordinating care, ensuring effective communication, and participating in performance improvement initiatives. The RN will also serve as a preceptor or mentor, promote evidence-based practice, and support resource planning to optimize patient outcomes.
Qualifications include a nursing license (RN) (single or multi-state), BLS certification, and less than one year of clinical experience. Preferred candidates will have an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
