Role Overview

The Medication Aide/Med Tech is responsible for administering medications and treatments to residents accurately, safely, and with dignity. They follow physician orders, adhere to the Six Rights of Medication Administration, and ensure proper documentation in MAR/TAR in real time.

Key duties include observing residents during and after medication passes, monitoring symptoms, reporting concerns, completing narcotic counts, maintaining clean medication carts, and following infection control and safety standards.

This role is vital in preventing medication errors, early detection of health changes, and safeguarding resident safety through attention to detail and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED and age 18+
• Medication Administration certification
• CPR and First Aid certifications
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Senior care experience preferred
