Care Manager

Role Overview

The Lead Caregiver serves as a shift leader in senior care, ensuring high-quality, consistent resident support while guiding and mentoring the caregiving team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead shift assignments, coordinate coverage, and manage attendance
  • Provide hands-on assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADL)
  • Coach team members on quality standards, hospitality, and documentation
  • Review charting to ensure compliance with Individualized Service Plans (ISP)
  • Monitor resident health changes and communicate concerns promptly
  • Support onboarding and mentor new caregivers
  • Promote safety, compliance, and smooth shift transitions

Qualifications & Skills:

  • High School Diploma/GED (age 18+)
  • CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications
  • Strong communication, delegation, and decision-making abilities
  • Experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior care settings
