Join a clinical laboratory team as a Medical Laboratory Scientist or Technician, performing analyses on various specimens to deliver high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting and reporting laboratory tests accurately and efficiently
- Managing specimens, confirming identification, and ensuring proper accessioning
- Performing instrument maintenance, troubleshooting, and quality control
- Replenishing supplies, following reporting procedures, and navigating multiple computer applications
- Training new staff and participating in ongoing education to maintain competency
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field for Scientist roles, or an Associate degree with certification for Technician roles
- Certification from accredited programs such as ASCP or NAACLS preferred
- Military medical laboratory experience is considered an asset
