Registered Nurse – Advanced Acute Care Medical

Role Overview: This is a full-time Inpatient RN position in a specialized acute care unit, focusing on caring for medical and surgical patients with diverse diagnoses. The role involves assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, providing direct treatments and medications, and coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The RN promotes compassionate, patient-centered interactions, evaluates intervention effectiveness, and actively participates in quality and safety initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive assessments and address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs.
  • Develop, coordinate, and update individualized care plans including patient and family education, discharge planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Administer treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures per policy.
  • Evaluate patient responses, revise care plans accordingly, and troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Collaborate proactively with physicians and team members to meet patient needs.
  • Participate in quality improvement, safety programs, and evidence-based practice initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Graduate from a nursing specialty training program.
  • Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
  • Commitment to compassionate, patient-focused care and teamwork.
  • Ability to participate in quality and safety activities and adapt to a dynamic environment.
