Role Overview: This position is for a full-time Inpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) responsible for delivering compassionate patient care, contributing to assessments, planning, and evaluation of care, and coordinating interdisciplinary team interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care including treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures according to policies.
- Assess patient needs across physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual domains.
- Educate patients and families, support discharge planning, and promote safety and satisfaction.
- Evaluate intervention effectiveness and collaborate with healthcare teams to address patient needs.
- Mentor new staff and students, participate in unit-based decision-making, and support evidence-based practices.
- Contribute data for patient assessments and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
