Registered Nurse – Critical Care Float

Role: Inpatient Registered Nurse responsible for assessing, planning, executing, and evaluating patient care to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures.
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families.
  • Educate patients and families, coordinate discharge planning, and evaluate intervention effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to meet patient needs.
  • Delegate tasks, troubleshoot equipment issues, and participate in unit-based decision-making.
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and safety programs aligned with organizational standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Graduate from a nursing specialty training program (required).
  • Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing patient conditions and collaborate effectively with team members.
