Role Overview: This is a full-time Inpatient RN position focused on providing compassionate, high-quality nursing care in a diverse medical-surgical unit.
Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, organize, and evaluate nursing activities to meet patient needs. Coordinate patient care, including treatments, medications, and diagnostics, while promoting safety and patient satisfaction. Address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families. Develop and revise care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, including patient education and discharge planning. Participate in quality, safety, and evidence-based practice initiatives. Troubleshoot equipment issues and contribute to unit decision-making. Engage as a team member to meet unit and organizational goals, with opportunities for professional growth. Support and mentor colleagues, uphold safety protocols, and participate in community and organizational activities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing (required). Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration skills. Ability to work night shifts, every other weekend, and holiday rotations. Self-scheduling flexibility and commitment to quality patient care. Experience or knowledge in medical-surgical and telemetry care is preferred.
Key Duties: Provide direct patient care, evaluate intervention effectiveness, collaborate with healthcare teams, and participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives.
