Role Overview: This position involves providing comprehensive inpatient nursing care, including assessments, treatments, medications, and patient education, in accordance with state standards. The RN will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, coordinate care plans, and ensure patient needs are met across physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual dimensions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care and monitor patient responses to interventions.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans, including discharge planning and family education.
- Collaborate with physicians and team members to address patient needs proactively.
- Assign tasks based on team member skills and patient acuity, promote teamwork, and troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, evidence-based practice, and safety programs.
- Support unit and organizational goals, including patient safety and quality metrics.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate from a nursing specialty training program (required).
- Interest in cardiac nursing care; previous cardiac experience preferred but willing to learn.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic clinical environment, including night shifts and holidays.
