Role Overview: Provides direct patient care activities, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, within established nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care by educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration. Participates in activities that ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, while engaging in ongoing professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans with clear goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team, patients, and families.
- Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences, values, and cultural backgrounds.
- Ensures effective communication of care plans across the continuum of care.
- Works in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining constant alertness to ensure safety.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Educational requirement: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Licensure: Active RN license.
- Experience: No minimum experience required; 2+ years preferred.
