Clinical Nurse – Operating Room

Role Overview:

This position involves providing direct patient care in a surgical setting within the operating room, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation according to nursing standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, home care, and medication administration.
  • Participate in activities that ensure patient safety, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance while engaging in professional development.
  • Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
  • Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors.
  • Work in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining constant alertness and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • RN license with a nursing diploma or associate’s degree (bachelor’s preferred).
  • No prior experience required; two years of experience is preferred.
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
