Role Overview: Provides direct patient care activities, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards.
- Promotes patient and family-centered care in a healing environment.
- Educates patients and families on managing illness, injury, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
- Participates in activities to ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, along with ongoing professional development.
- Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans with clear goals, collaborating with the interprofessional team, patients, and caregivers.
- Assesses physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural backgrounds.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree in Nursing (RN required).
- No prior experience needed; supervision experience not required.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience.
- Safety-sensitive role requiring alertness and safe work practices.
