Role Overview:
This position is for a Part-Time MRI Radiology Advanced Modality Technologist specializing in imaging, primarily performing diagnostic MRI procedures on adult and pediatric patients. The role involves preparing patients and equipment, executing studies independently, and ensuring quality control across multiple imaging sites, including the main orthopedic and neurosciences center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in advanced modalities such as MRI, CT, or other specified areas.
- Prepare patients and equipment for imaging studies.
- Conduct studies independently, including on-call, portable exams, and coverage at different sites.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) and/or MR.
- Associate’s Degree or Trade School equivalency.
- Minimum of 2 years of MRI Technologist experience preferred, with knowledge of MRI equipment and procedures.
- Required licenses/certifications include IEMA (excluding MRI), RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES.
- Preferred certifications include CPR and IV Therapy.
Additional Details:
- Part-Time position (24 hours/week), benefits eligible.
- Weekend shift includes Saturday and Sunday from 6 am to 6:30 pm, with a 50% premium pay for weekend hours.
