Role Overview: Provides direct patient care for children undergoing dialysis, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards.
Responsibilities:
- Promote patient and family-centered care, educate on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication use.
- Participate in activities ensuring patient safety, quality, and compliance; engage in professional development.
- Develop, execute, and document individualized care plans, collaborating with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
- Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences, values, and cultural considerations.
- Work in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining constant alertness and safe practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate’s degree or higher in Nursing (RN license required).
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and 2+ years of RN experience.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient education skills.
