Part Time Clinical Nurse Pre-Op

Role Overview:

Provides direct patient care in a fast-paced PACU setting, focusing on interventional radiology cases with responsibilities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
  • Participates in safety, quality, and regulatory activities, and engages in ongoing professional development.
  • Develops and documents individualized care plans with collaborative input, ensuring clear communication across care teams.
  • Uses critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum education: Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree; preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
  • Licensure: Valid RN license required.
  • Experience: Entry-level acceptable; two years of experience preferred.
  • Skills: Critical thinking, excellent communication, and ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment.
