Role Overview
Provides direct patient care in the operating room, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs. Participates in activities to ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, while engaging in professional development. Develops and documents personalized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team, ensuring effective communication across the care continuum. Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values, cultural, and spiritual considerations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree; Bachelor’s preferred
- Licenses & Certifications: Current RN license
- Experience: No prior experience required; 2+ years preferred
- Skills: Critical thinking, patient education, safety awareness, teamwork, communication
