Full-Time Clinical Nurse

Role Overview:

Provides direct patient care in a fast-paced, collaborative emergency department environment, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing care standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication use.
  • Participate in activities that ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance; engage in ongoing professional development.
  • Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
  • Use critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values, cultural, and emotional considerations.
  • Work in a safety-sensitive role requiring constant alertness and safe practice.

  • Qualifications & Skills:
  • Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree in Nursing; RN license required.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience.
  • Experience in emergency nursing and team leadership in a clinical setting is advantageous.

  • Additional Information:
    Night shift with two 12-hour shifts, offering differential pay. The role emphasizes rapid assessment and treatment, serving a diverse patient population in a Level I Trauma Center.
