High-Risk Cardiology – Clinical RN (Day Shift) → Cardiology Clinical RN (Day Shift)

Role Overview:

Provides direct patient care in a high-risk cardiology unit, managing complex cardiac conditions such as CAD, HTN, arrhythmias, heart failure, and post-procedure care. Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team including Hospitalist Attendings and cardiology specialists to deliver comprehensive care.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Promoting patient and family-centered care through education on illness management, medications, and post-discharge needs.
  • Participating in activities that ensure patient safety, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance.
  • Developing, implementing, and documenting individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and team members.
  • Assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and cultural considerations.
  • Utilizing critical nursing skills to evaluate patient status and respond appropriately.

Qualifications include a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree and RN licensure. Preferred candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience. The role emphasizes safety, professional development, and teamwork.
